Day Camp at Hi-Rock

Days chock full of fun and friends await campers at Hi-Rock’s Day Camp! Our Day Camp program offers a complete package of transportation, quality care, and exciting camp programs to entertain and challenge boys and girls ages 5-12. Campers experience the unique mountaintop camp life of Camp Hi-Rock while returning home to their families each afternoon. One- to eight-week sessions are available throughout the summer. We can provide a one-week treat or a summer-long adventure with themed activities changing each week to keep the program interesting for long-term campers.

Campers are grouped by age to give them the special attention needed at their level of development. Choice is a key part of our program; campers help design their day as both a group and as individuals, with opportunities for individual choice expanding as campers get older.

Day Camp Family Night & Sleep-over

Each two-week session we will have a Family Night. This is an opportunity for parents to visit and experience Camp Hi-Rock. The day and the activity will be announced at the beginning of the session and may include a family cookout, a hike on one of our beautiful trails or even a low ropes challenge.
Day Campers in Bobcats (the middle unit) and Falcons (the oldest unit) can extend their Hi-Rock experience by staying for an overnight the second Thursday of each session.

USA Immersion Fellowships

USAI is a not-for-profit organization offering fellowships to attend our Day Camp for free to those families interested in participating in their international cultural immersion program. Local families can take advantage of this program when they welcome an international student attending Camp Hi-Rock as a day camper into their homes. In return, both the international students and local kids benefit from the opportunity to learn about each other’s cultures while attending Day Camp together.
