Summer 2018 Admin Team Introduction #1

With summer approaching we are excited to begin introducing our 2018 admin team! first up, our Summer Camp Program Directors  for 2018, Eric Chin and Robbie Whelan, and with our Group Camping Program Director Rob Allingham!

Eric Chin- Program Director

Q: What are you doing now?
A: I’m a junior at Harvard studying biology and statistics. At school, I also lead trips with the Outing Club and play for the ultimate frisbee team.

Q: How long have you been coming to camp?
A: My first year at camp was in 2007, and since then I have been a camper in Abnaki, Frontier, and Mohawk, an Abnaki counselor, and the Assistant Ski Director. This will be my fourth summer as staff and my eleventh overall.

Q: What are you most excited for this summer?
A: I was only able to spend a week at Hi-Rock last summer, so I’m incredibly excited to be back in my favorite place!

Q: What’s your favorite camp meal?
A: The only correct answer is fajita night!

Q: What are you doing now?
A: I’m currently in my final year at the University of Stirling in Scotland and I’m studying BSc in Sport and Exercise Science.

Q: How many years have you been coming to camp?
A: Sadly I never got to experience camp as a camper but this is going to be my 3rd year as staff!

Q: What are you most excited about for this summer?
A: Tough question…if I had to pick one it would be getting to hear the frontier cheers in the dining hall again!

Q: What’s your favorite camp meal?
A: 100% has to be fajita night!

 

Rob Allingham- Group Camping Program Director

Q: What are you doing now?
A: I am currently a Sophomore at Sacred Heart University in Fairfield Connecticut.

Q: How many years have you been coming to camp?
A: I have been coming to camp as a staff member since 2013.

Q: What are you most excited about this summer?
A: I am most excited about seeing old friends and making new ones!

Q: What is your favorite camp meal?
A: My favorite camp meal is everything that isn’t in the salad bar
