Monetary Donations

There’s so much that would not be possible for YMCA Camp Hi-Rock to accomplish without donated funds. YMCA Camp Hi-Rock is a not for-profit organization and the donations it receives make a world of difference to the programs we offer and the children we serve. Due to our status as a non-profit, all donations to camp are tax deductible.  You can make your gift to camp in many different ways.  Whatever way works best for you, please know that you are making an important difference through your gift!

Become part of the Hi-Rock Heritage Society through a planned gift

The YMCA Camp Hi-Rock Heritage Society is a select group of people who believe deeply in the mission of Camp Hi-Rock and want to ensure that its quality of service and outreach will continue for future generations. We honor individuals who have made planned gifts to Camp Hi-Rock by including them in the Hi-Rock Heritage Society which recognizes and thanks them for their enduring support.  Hi-Rock Heritage Society members are invited to join the rest of the Central Connecticut Coast YMCA Heritage Society members for a special dinner once each year.

A variety of gift programs are available to quality for YMCA Camp Hi-Rock Heritage Society membership including:

• Outright Gifts
• Insurance
• Charitable Trusts
• Wills and Bequests

Members of the YMCA Camp Hi-Rock Heritage Society will be kept up to date regarding the activities of Camp Hi-Rock through communications and information from camp on a regular basis.

Friends of YMCA Camp Hi-Rock can help to extend Hi-Rock’s influence beyond their own lifetimes with gifts of assets they have accumulated. Estate gift income can be integral for program expansion and outreach as well as sustaining our current high quality programs. Your gift can benefit youth and families today, as well as generations to come. The earnings from endowment contributions help finance the work of camp while providing a resource base that will enable camp leaders to plan more effectively for the future. You can make this possible by including Camp Hi-Rock in your estate plans. Make the YMCA part of the legacy you leave through a planned gift. Other Ways to Give

With tax laws changing seemingly all the time, there are many other ways to give that are not listed on our web site. We encourage you to talk to your tax advisor, estate planner or financial planner about the best way for you to make other gifts that may be best for you and for Camp Hi-Rock. People give their houses to charity – and keep living in them! There just might be a way for you to do something meaningful for you and your family that is also great for YMCA Camp Hi-Rock.
