Spring Volunteer Work Weekend 2024 – April 26-28

Please join us for a great weekend with fellow Hi-Rockers. We’ll be getting camp ready for summer, tackling some important camp improvement projects, and catching up with our Hi-Rock friends. Accommodations and meals will be provided. Children and teens under the age of 18 who would like to join us must be accompanied by a parent or other supervising adult. Volunteers are welcome for all or part of the weekend. Meals served will include Friday dinner through Sunday lunch. Work projects will conclude Sunday morning by noon.

Women’s Wellness Weekend 2024 – May 31 – June 2

A weekend for women of all ages. Participants under 18 years old must be accompanied by an adult. Activities for the body, mind, and spirit include:

      • Massages & meditation
      • Low ropes, high ropes and climbing wall
      • Creative crafts & painting
      • Hiking, swimming & boating
      • Delicious & healthy food

Wilderness First Responder Training 2024 – June 2-9

The definitive wilderness course in medical training, leadership, and critical thinking for outdoor, low-resource, and remote professionals and leaders. The Wilderness First Responder program is the ideal medical training for leaders in remote areas including outdoor educators, guides, military, professional search and rescue teams, researchers, and those involved in disaster relief. The curriculum is comprehensive and practical. It includes the essential principles and skills required to assess and manage medical problems in isolated and extreme environments for days and weeks if necessary.

Family Camp 2024: August 19 – August 25

We offer activities for every age and ability level. Families have private cabins or rooms. Flexible schedules mean that you and your family choose what you want to do and when you want to do it. Relax on our sandy beach and enjoy boating on our private, 90-acre lake. Face your fears on the high ropes course or take a hike on the Appalachian Trail. Our enthusiastic staff and unforgettable location will make you want to come back year after year. Family Camps are a fun and affordable way to vacation together. A family of four can stay the whole week, with meals and activities included for around $1,000! Shorter stays also available. In 2013, YMCA Camp Hi-Rock was featured in a CBS This Morning Saturday piece on family camping. Hi-Rock has also been rated one of the nation’s top 50 Family Camps in Arthur Frommer’s Guide!

ALUMNI REUNION Labor Day Weekend 2026

Join us for the 75th-anniversary alumni reunion in celebrating 75 years of Camp Hi-Rock! All alumni are welcome, come alone or bring the family. Attendees under 18 years old must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
