Check out our BOLD/GOLD Program!

We’re thrilled to announce that Camp Hi-Rock was one of 10 Y’s chosen across the country to help expand an incredible YMCA program called BOLD/GOLD. Originally started in Seattle, BOLD GOLD takes youth on week-long backpacking programs to develop their fullest leadership potential as positive multicultural leaders in their communities. Our small groups (8 participants and two to three instructors) travel to some of the most beautiful and natural places in the Northeast to build their community. Using breath taking wilderness classrooms our participants return from our programs knowing that the confidence, strength and friendships they developed will help them meet any challenge on the trail, in the classroom, or back home in their communities.

For more information or to register for the program, visit the new page on our website: BOLD GOLD

2015 kick off email-web(orange)

We are officially kicking off the 2015 Annual Campaign TODAY! This is the earliest we have ever started. Our plan is to complete our fundraising earlier than ever. Please consider a pledge today to help camp reach our 2015 goal!

Friends of YMCA Camp Hi-Rock call it their second home. We call them our family. The hundreds of people who join us here and support our cause are our greatest resource when it comes to providing experiences for youth development and skills for healthy living, which promote social responsibility for all. What if we could harness that power to make an even greater difference on a bigger scale? YMCA Camp Hi-Rock has an invaluable impact on children and families by offering outdoor experiences to build an appreciation for the natural world, opportunities for families to come together, and summer camps for children to develop lifelong values. Our communities face new challenges that create a greater need for the work we do. Fortunately, where some see obstacles, we see opportunities for our participants, volunteers, staff, and generous donors like you. After all, camping with the Y is a cause you can believe in.

boy with ball for webTogether, we have an extraordinary opportunity to strengthen the bonds of families, educate our children, and provide experiences for youth development and skills for healthy living, which promote social responsibility for all.

When you give to YMCA Camp Hi-Rock, you help families create lifelong memories, you teach children to be stewards of the earth, and you give people of all ages and backgrounds values and skills that will strengthen their characters. You create a better future for everyone.

Together, we can provide children with skills and values that promote youth development. We can give individuals the chance to experience new outdoor activities that foster healthy living. We can do all of this as our social responsibility to create a better future for everyone.

Our cause is one of values and mission. You have the power to make these changes for our communities. With your generous support, we can have an impact on hundreds of individuals.

PLEASE GIVE. AND DO SO MUCH MORE.
