Tiered Pricing Explained
Camp For All – Our YMCA understands families have different abilities to pay for summer camp. We are committed to making the life-changing experience of summer camp available to all. We have adopted a 4-tier pricing program for our summer overnight camp. Please consider the tier descriptions below and choose the tier that is most suitable for your family. No proof of financial need is required for tiers 1 – 3. Your selection is confidential and will not affect your child’s experience at camp in any way.

Tier 2 |
Tier 3 |
Tier 4 |
Most accurately reflects the true cost of camp including, but not limited to, general overhead, equipment and facility maintenance, capital improvements, and staffing. If you are able to pay this amount, please do so. | Reflects the basic cost of attending camp including food, staff, program supplies and limited maintenance expenses. This partially subsidized rate is made possible through the efforts of our hard-working volunteers and loyal donors. | This tier is a more significantly subsidized rate for families whose children would not otherwise be able to attend camp. It is always our desire to partner with parents in providing a camp experience. | Is offered to campers with demonstrated need who qualify for financial assistance through our Strong Kids Campership Program |
Huddle around a cause!
It’s time to huddle up and finish strong!
As we enter the holiday season, we huddle closer together. We huddle with friends and family around dinner tables, fireplaces, Christmas trees, the menorah, holiday movies, football games and pumpkin pie. Over the next few weeks, we will huddle together around causes we believe in. We are writing today to ask you to please consider making Hi-Rock one of those causes. Each year we depend on critical funds raised through our Annual Campaign to make Hi-Rock possible. Please help us reach our 2014 goal of $125,000 by the end of the day on Giving Tuesday, December 2, 2014.
Thank you to those of you who have already made a commitment to Hi-Rock in 2014!
If you haven’t made a commitment yet this year, will you please consider joining us as we huddle up for Hi-Rock by making a gift today?
Friends of YMCA Camp Hi-Rock call it their second home. We call them our family. The hundreds of people who join us here and support our cause are Hi-Rock’s most powerful resource when it comes to providing experiences for youth development and skills for healthy living, which promote social responsibility for all.

2014 Annual Campaign kicks off!
YMCA Camp Hi-Rock kicks off its 2014 Annual Campaign this week. The Annual Campaign is the new name for the Strong Kids Campaign, an annual campaign through which the YMCA Camp Hi-Rock family comes together to raise critical funds to ensure camp is possible for all.
Throughout New England and around the world countless people know about YMCA Camp Hi-Rock. But there’s so much more to our Y than one might think. From archery to advocacy, rowing to reading programs, volleyball to volunteerism—we don’t just strengthen individuals, we strengthen our world.
This year we hope people will think of our Y as so much more than a camp. On our very special mountain and around the world, the Y is a cause – a cause worth investing in.
All year long we work to support the children, adults and families who need us most. Camp is a place where kids can act like kids. Camp brings distant cultures and diverse traditions together. Camp provides a safe environment in which kids can grow and discover who they are. Camp is also an important partner to the education system, helping curb summer learning loss by engaging campers in skill developing programs that challenge them to think critically. Camp gets kids outside – in a place where you can build a fort, play tag, go swimming in a lake, and hike to a view that is as beautiful and unique as you are.
Our Annual Campaign donors make it possible for children and families to have access to our camping programs, and to ensure that all are welcome regardless of their ability to pay. Please join our efforts to spread the message that the Y is so much more. You may make a donation to the campaign at the following link: https://operations.
Thank you for making a difference in the lives of kids and families in need.
